Strengthen Your Business Cyber Security with NCSC’s Cyber Action Toolkit

The UK Government and NCSC are urging SMEs to strengthen their cyber security by using the free Cyber Action Toolkit, which offers simple, practical steps to protect businesses from online threats.
By Tim Burghes,

Small and medium-sized businesses are at the heart of Swindon and Wiltshire’s economy. But as more business moves online, cyber attacks are becoming a real risk, one that can disrupt operations, damage reputation and cost money.

To help local businesses strengthen their defences, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), supported by government ministers, has launched the Cyber Action Toolkit. It’s a free, practical resource designed specifically for small organisations.

Cyber security isn’t just for big corporations. Every business, no matter its size, holds valuable data and relies on technology to operate. A single cyber incident can have serious consequences. That’s why ministers for Digital Economy and Small Business have joined NCSC’s CEO in urging SMEs to take action now.

The toolkit gives you clear, step-by-step actions to put strong security foundations in place, track your progress and build protection at your own pace. It’s simple, accessible and designed for businesses with limited time and resources.
