The NatWest Accelerator Pitch invites entrepreneurs to submit a 60-second video explaining how financial support would contribute to their growth. Applicants must demonstrate business achievements and outline how the funding will support their development.
The competition includes live events, starting with a final in Manchester in July, followed by a London event later in 2025. Five finalists at each event will pitch to a panel of industry experts, who will assess their business models, growth strategies and the impact of the funding.
The initiative is part of NatWest Accelerator's broader programme to help small businesses increase sales, attract investment and strengthen leadership skills.
A total prize pot of £1 million is available over multiple competitions in 2025 and beyond. The first competition has a £100,000 prize fund. The winners at each live event will receive:
- First place: £70,000
- Second place: £20,000
- Third place: £10,000
Grants must be used within three months, with follow-up checks at three, six and twelve months.
The competition is open to UK-registered limited companies with up to £1 million annual revenue that began trading between 1 January 2019 and 1 January 2024. Business owners must be at least 18 years old and UK residents.
