In partnership with the British Business Bank, Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub is bringing you Meet the Funder, a fireside chat with an early-stage Angel Investor and Fund Manager, in person at the Business Cyber Centre.
The fund Manager for this session will be Luke Matthews of Maven Capital Partners https://www.mavencp.com/. Luke is a partner at Maven based in the Bristol office, with responsibilities that include lead deal origination and execution for the South West Investment Fund, and he also works with a number of Maven portfolio companies. He started his career at a Big 4 accountancy firm and worked in M&A, before joining his first fund in 2012. He grew up locally and is still based with his family on the edge of the Cotswolds.
This event aims to guide you through the mind of an investor, explore their thinking when looking at opportunities and question their approach or thoughts on your own business proposition.
Lunch will be provided.
There will also be limited opportunities for 1-2-1 conversations with the investors following the fireside chat.
