Business Fit For the Future programme by Wiltshire Council promotes business growth through business start-up support, net-zero adaptations, and growth opportunities whilst supporting our rural communities with new rural hubs.
The programmes listed below are financed by Wiltshire Council and the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), and are being implemented by Severn Wye, BIC Innovation, The Future Smiths, University of Bath, and techSPARK.
The Wiltshire Fit For Growth Programme, led by BIC Innovation, aims to foster business growth in Wiltshire by supporting companies in various sectors including manufacturing, logistics, agritech, and life sciences.
The programme offers one-on-one specialist support, collaborative learning cohorts, unique events, webinars, and guidance on accessing grants. It focuses on unlocking innovation, strategic planning, and embedding a growth culture to ensure sustainable business development. Operational support is already available, with events and cohorts starting later in the year to maximise community impact and business growth.

The Fit For Start Up support programme offers tailored workshops and coaching for aspiring and new business owners. It includes a Foundation Workshop for exploring business ideas, Business Planning Workshops for launch, or seeking funding.
Additionally, there is grant assistance available to support new businesses. The programme is funded by Wiltshire Council through the UKSPF, delivered in collaboration with The Future Smiths, techSPARK, and the University of Bath.
